Description:

Prepare every needful thing (d & c 88:119) organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of god;uniting blended families: “yours,” “mine,” and working towards “ours!”joining two “established” families is definitely a task that requires preparing every needful thing.

We have been together as a blended family for twelve years. when we got married, elder marlin k jensen likened the merging of our families as when two rivers come together. there is bound to be some “rough water ahead”. we have tried to take his advice to heart and work through the hard times. we have not done things perfectly and we still have much to learn. we hope to include suggestions of things and references that have worked for us and things that we wish we had implemented.

We will also mention the importance of being temporally prepared in case of death or divorce.
